Bell Tower Night View

The Xi'an Bell Tower is located in the center of Xi'an, at the intersection of the four main streets in the City Wall. It is the largest and most fully preserved bell tower in China. Built in the 17th year of Hongwu reign of Emperor Taizu of the Ming Dynasty (1384), it was initially built at the intersection of today's Guangji Street, opposite the Drum Tower. In the 10th year of Wanli reign of Emperor Shenzong of the Ming Dynasty (1582), it was relocated to this site as a whole.
