DAY 1 Chengdu Arrival

Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer, Airport transfer (Chengdu), Wuhou Temple, Jinli Ancient Street
Hello! Welcome to Chengdu, the land of abundance and hometown of the giant pandas. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by tour guide and transferred to visit the Wuhou Temple and Jinli Ancient Street. After dinner, you are escorted to your comfortable hotel.

DAY 2 Chengdu/Moxi
Transfer via: private vehicle
Activities for today: Drive to Moxi, Shangli Old Town, Moxi Town
A full day sightseeing starts with driving to Moxi Town (256km, 6-7hrs) via the beautiful West Sichuan Plain. Along the route, we will visit Shangli Old Town. When arrival in Moxi, explore the small Catholic church and some family houses in the town.

DAY 3 Moxi/Hailuogou/Kangding
Activities for today: Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park
After breakfast, transfer to Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park for a full day sightseeing. Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park is the biggest glacier park in China, which boasts many geographic attractions, including glaciers, grand glacier cascade, virgin forests, wild animals and hot springs, etc. At the entrance, we will take the sightseeing bus through the beautiful primitive forests to the No. 3 Base Camp via the No. 1 Base Camp and the No. 2 Base Camp. In the No. 3 Base Camp you can choose to take the cable car (at your own expense) up to the No. 4 Base Camp. Taking the cable car, you can have a bird's eye view of the perfect combination of the primitive forest and glaciers, in a sunshine day, you can even see the magnificent giant ice waterfalls and the beautiful main peak of "the King of the Sichuan's mountains" - Mount Gongga (elevation 7,556 m). If you don't take the cable car to the No. 4 Base Camp, you can walk through the primitive forest to the glaciers viewing platform to see the wonders of glaciers, such as the crevasses of glaciers, the mushroom shaped glaciers and so on. After lunch, it is a free time for your own exploration in the glacier forest park. After that, get on the sightseeing bus return to the entrance of the park, where you take your private car and transfer to Kangding (120 km, 3hrs).

DAY 4 Kangding/Danba/Mount Siguniang
Activities for today: Drive to Mount Siguniang, Jiaju Tibetan Village
Today, we will drive to Mount Siguniang (245km, 7hrs) and then explore the legendary Vallely of Beauty in Danba County en route. Many traditional Tibetan villages hide in this mysterious charming valley. Among them, we will visit the Jiaju Tibetan Village, which was one of "the Top Six Charming Ethnic Villages in China" chosen by the magazine China National Geographic in 2005. In the village, there are gorgeous watchtowers and traditional Tibetan fortress-like houses, which constitute a remarkable scenery with the natural surroundings.

DAY 5 Mount Siguniang/Danba
Transfer via: private vehicle
Activities for today: Mount Siguniang
After breakfest, we will drive to the Mount Siguniang Scenic Area. Here, we will have a sightseeing of the Shuangqiao Valley and Changping Valley by bus. And then in the afternoon, we will return to Danba (110 km, 3hrs) and escort you to your hotel.

DAY 6 Danba/Kangding

Activities for today: Take photos
The theme of today's journey is driving tour and photography. En rounte return to Chengdu, we will via some beautiful places such as Jiaju Tibetan Village, Bamei (the most beautiful bonsai beach in the world), Xinduqiao (the paradise of photographing), and Tagong Grassland. Later, we will stay at Kangding.

DAY 7 Kangding/Chengdu
Activities for today: Drive back to Chengdu, Wide and Narrow Alley, Yuanyang Hot Pot
In the morning, enjoy your breakfst and then we drive back to Chengdu (350 km, 7 hrs). On arrival, pay a visit to the Wide and Narrow Alley. Today's supper will be arranged in a famous hot pot restaurant to enjoy the "double flavor hot pot" (Yuanyang Hot Pot). This is a well-known local pot with a mixture of slightly numbing, hot, sour and sweet tastes, can be rated as the rare flavor of China.

DAY 8 Chengdu/Exit
Transfer via: flight - your arrangement
Activities for today: Hotel to airport transfer (Chengdu)
After breakfest, free at leisure and then be transferred to the airport for your flight to next destination.

- Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
- Entrance fees:
- All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of TourJiuZhaiGou. TourJiuZhaigou will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
- Meals:
- All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
- Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
- Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
- The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
- Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
- Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
- All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.

| Chengdu | Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. It is located on the edge of the Chengdu Plain which is known as the “Country of Heaven” (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). The agriculture in Chengdu really develop well, as a result, it is also called the “Land of Milk and Honey” due to this. One thing you must do in Chengdu is visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Chengdu is famed as “the home Town of Giant Panda” which attracts millions of tourists from inland and abroad. Moreover, Chengdu has a history of more than 2,000 years with numerous historical places of interests and relics. You can experience the history of Chengdu can go to the Jinsha Site Museum, Sanxingdui Museum, Wuhou Memorial Temple and Wenshu Temple, or you can stroll in the Jinli Ancient Street and the Wide and Narrow Alley to relax yourself. Additionally, you’d better not miss the Sichuan Cuisine. |
| Moxi | Moxi Ancient Town stands at the gateway to the Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park, south of Kangding and east of Mount Gongga. It is settlements of Han, Yi, and Tibetan. Residential buildings here feature the architecture style of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). In the town, there is a Catholic built by French missionaries in 1918. Today, Moxi residents also remain national customs of Yi New Year, Torch Festival, marriage and others. |
| Kangding | Kangding is an important historic county in western China. It has been the political, economic, cultural, trade, information center and transportation hub since Kham region. Also, it served as the trade center of tea-horse between Han and Tibetan. Today, it belongs to Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. It has many famous tourist places, such as Mugecuo (Love Song of Kangding Scenic Area), Xinduqiao, Moxi Gully, Mount Gongga, Nawu Monastery, Tagong Monastery, Gongga Temple and so on. |
| Danba | Danba is a county of the eastern Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in western Sichuan Province. Danba has ancient and mysterious national history and culture, owns charming ethnic customs as well as encompasses magic and beauty natural scenery. There is China's most beautiful countryside – Jiaju Tibetan Village, Beauty Valley, the Ancient Capital of East Female Country, Mosca Gesar Stone Inscriptions and some other tourist sites. |
