Fenghuang Ancient City is located in the southwest of Hunan province. The town is placed in a mountain setting; incorporating the natural flow of water into city layout.
It is an exceptionally well-preserved ancient town that harbors unique ethnic languages, customs, arts as well as many distinctive architectural remains of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing(1644-1911) styles.
