The Dujiangyan Panda Valley of Chengdu Panda Base (simply Dujiangyan Panda Valley) is an affiliated agency of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. It is situated in a tranquil valley of Yutang Town, Dujiangyan City. It is 50 km west from Chengdu.The valley is a narrow strip with streams flowing through and edible bamboo for giant pandas. The valley is divided into three parts: the experimental area, semi-wild reintroduction area and reintroduction area. It is now home to 40 giant pandas, 100 red pandas and other wild animals.
