Shaolin Temple, or Shaolin Monastery, located in the region of Song Mountains, is the shrine of Chinese Kung fu and one of the four holy Buddhist temples of China.
In 2010, the temple and its Pagoda Forest were listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the “Historic Monuments of Dengfeng.”
