Wenshu Temple is the best preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu, which was first built during the Tang Dynasty.
The temple consists of 5 halls, and the 5 halls are lining on the axle wire, together with the front and the back screen wall. In the temple, there are 300 Buddha statues made by iron, bronze, stone, wood and jade materials.
Besides, there are more than 500 pieces of painting and calligraphy, and they were created by distinguished Chinese painters and calligraphers like Zhang Daqian, Zheng Banqiao, and Feng Zikai.
