Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 Guangzhou
Transfer via: Flight - your arrangement
Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer, Yuexiu Park (Five Ram Statue), Chen Family Temple
Start your day in Guangzhou with a visit to Yuexiu Park, home to the city’s iconic Five Rams Statue. Then, explore the stunning Chen Clan Ancestral Hall before enjoying free time for shopping along the vibrant Beijing Road.
DAY 2 Guangzhou/Zhangjiajie
Transfer via: domestic plane for economy class - our arrangement
Activities for today: Airport transfer, Tianmenshan Mountain Nature Reserve
Morning be met and transferred to airport for the morning flight to Zhangjiajie. On arrival, meet the local guide and transfer to explore Tianmenshan Mountain Nature Reserve, where you will experience a ride on the world’s longest cable car up to the summit of the mountain. You will take a hiking (approximately 2 hours) on the Plank Road alongside Guigu Cliffs. After hiking, you will pay a visit to the Tianmen Temple, and then take the Forest sightseeing cable car and back to the Tianmen Cable car station, and take the big cable car down to the middle station, you will take a bus through the Tongtian Avenue to explore the Tianmen Cave. After the tour, we will drive about 45 minutes to your hotel at Wulingyuan Area.
DAY 3 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Golden Whip Stream), Baofeng Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Golden Whip Stream (Jinbianxi) – this charming valley is most likely to bring you into the pandora’s wonderland of the movie. You will have a leisure hiking about 2.5 hours.​ After that, visit the Baofeng Lake. Hiking about 1 hour through a grand Valley (Baizhangxia) and reach the sleepy Baofeng Lake. You will take a short cruise on the Lake.​
DAY 4 Zhangjiajie
Activities for today: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Yuanjiajie Mountain, Bailong Elevator, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-mile Natural Gallery)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will then ascend the Yuanjiajie Mountain (Bailong Lift Sightseeing Terrace) by the Bailong Elevator - a glass elevator built into the side of the mountain. On the summit, you will take about 2.5 hours hiking to discover the Pillar of the Southern sky. It was used to inspiration for the famous "Hallelujah Mountains" seen in the Blockbuster movie, Avatar. Proceed to the platform or Forgetfulness to enjoy the nearby peak views and then walk across the NO. 1 Bridge under Heaven. Climb up the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. After that, take a cable car down the mountain and go on sightseeing along the dreamlike Fairyland – Ten-mile Natural Gallery (sightseeing train optional CNY52/pp). Free evening for your leisure.
DAY 5 Zhangjiajie/Chengdu

This morning, our driver will escort your to Zhangjiajie West Railway Station for the high speed train to Chengdu.

Upon arriving at Chengdu East Railway Station, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to Jinli Ancient Street—a beautifully restored pedestrian thoroughfare that captures the charm of old Chengdu. Lined with traditional Qing Dynasty-style architecture, teahouses, and artisan shops, it’s the perfect place to begin your journey, where the aroma of local snacks and the rhythm of daily life bring centuries of history to life.
DAY 6 Chengdu
Activities for today: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinsha Site Museum, Wide and Narrow Alley
Begin your day with a morning drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you’ll come face-to-face with these beloved national treasures and discover fascinating insights into their world—from conservation efforts to playful daily antics. In the afternoon, continue your journey through time at the Jinsha Site Museum, home to extraordinary relics of ancient Shu civilization. Then, wander into the heart of old Chengdu along Wide and Narrow Alley, a beautifully preserved lane where teahouses, street food, and artisan boutiques blend timeless charm with modern energy.
DAY 7 Chengdu/Huanglong/Jiuzhaigou

Activities for today: Train station transfer, Huanglong National Park (one way cable car - up)

This morning, our driver will escort you to Chengde East Railway Station for the high speed train to Huanglong.

Jiuzhaigou Tour Guide & Driver Service:
Upon your arrival at Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station, you’ll be warmly greeted and whisked away to explore the breathtaking Huanglong National Park, famed for its shimmering travertine pools and untouched alpine beauty. After immersing yourself in its surreal landscapes, enjoy a scenic two-hour drive to your hotel in the enchanting Jiuzhaigou.
DAY 8 Jiuzhaigou
Activities for today: Jiuzhaigou National Park
Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park (Jiuzhaigou Valley) with your guide—a breathtaking natural wonderland nestled deep within the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. Often celebrated as a living museum of flora and fauna, this ethereal landscape is famed for its crystalline turquoise lakes, cascading waterfalls, and lush forests. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and later designated a UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1997, Jiuzhaigou is not only a feast for the eyes but also a vital sanctuary for countless species and a shining example of harmony between nature and culture.
DAY 9 Jiuzhaigou / Xi'an

Activities for today: Airport transfer, Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park
Transfer to the airport by driver (no guide service) for the morning flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival in Xi'an, you will be met and transfer to visit the Shaanxi History Museum, which is one impressive museum housing more than 370,000 pieces of historical relics. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park (excludes climbing the pagoda). The pagoda is the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang.
DAY 10 Xi'an
Activities for today: Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Grand Mosque, Muslim quarters
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and head to the Xi’an Daqin Terra-Cotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory, where you’ll get a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous process of crafting replica Terra-Cotta Warriors. From there, continue to the awe-inspiring Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum—one of the 20th century’s greatest archaeological revelations. For over 2,200 years, an entire army of life-sized warriors, complete with bronze chariots and horses, has stood guard in silent formation within the vast underground vaults of Emperor Qin’s mausoleum.

In the afternoon, discover the tranquil beauty of the Grand Mosque, a hidden gem where Chinese traditional architecture meets Islamic culture. Afterwards, take time to wander at your own pace through the bustling Old Muslim Quarters, a vibrant labyrinth of aromatic food stalls, time-honored shops, and rich cultural heritage.
DAY 11 Xi'an/Beijing

Activities for today: Train station transfer
Board your high-speed train at Xi’an North Railway Station for a scenic five-hour journey to Beijing. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and smoothly transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure—whether that means venturing out to explore Beijing’s dynamic neighborhoods, hunting for treasures in its bustling markets, or simply settling in at your own pace.
DAY 12 Beijing
Activities for today: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Temple of Heaven
Today, your Beijing discovery begins with a leisurely stroll across Tian’anmen Square—the world’s largest public square and a powerful symbol of the nation. From there, step into the majestic Forbidden City, a 600-year-old imperial palace that once housed 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. After exploring its vast halls and courtyards, make your way up nearby Jingshan Hill for a panoramic view of the golden rooftops and grand symmetry below. Lunch will be served at a local Chinese restaurant.

In the afternoon, journey to the Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming architecture and landscape design. Here, emperors of old performed solemn rituals to pray for bountiful harvests and divine favor—a serene and spiritual close to your day.
DAY 13 Beijing
Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, 798 Art Zone
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be escorted to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall—an awe-inspiring wonder of the world and an enduring symbol of China. Enjoy a scenic stroll along this ancient fortress and take in sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

In the afternoon, head back to the city and dive into Beijing’s contemporary art scene at the 798 Art Zone. Set in a former industrial complex on the city’s outskirts, this vibrant creative hub is alive with cutting-edge galleries, avant-garde installations, and unmistakable industrial-chic charm.
DAY 14 Beijing
Activities for today: Summer Palace, Yonghe Lamasery, Hutongs
Today, meet your guide and set off for the Summer Palace. In the afternoon, visit the Yonghe Lamasery, widely regarded as the largest and best-preserved lamasery in Beijing. This sacred site once served as the residence of Emperor Yongzheng during his time as a prince in the Qing Dynasty. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through the winding Hutongs, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to visit a local family in their Siheyuan (traditional courtyard home).
DAY 15 Beijing/Departure

Destinations

Guangzhou

Guangzhou, also known as Canton, is located along the south coastline of China. It is the capital city and the political, economic and cultural center of Guangdong Province. 

Benefited from the Reform and Opening Up policy since 1978, Guangzhou serves as an important national transportation hub and trading port. With a population of 12.78 million, it is the third-largest Chinese city and the largest city in South Central China. 

Guangzhou is a famous historical city, the Chen Clan Academy, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Five Ram Statue in Yuexiu Park and Baiyun Mountain are popular among tourists. Nightlife in Guangzhou is also amazing, take a boat on the Pearl River to admire the beautiful night view is really a great enjoyment. Besides, Guangzhou cuisine is one of the Eight Major Regional Cuisines in China. You would love to have a local meal in this city.

Zhangjiajie

Located in the west of Hunan Province, 330 kilometers from Changsha, Zhangjiajie is a prefecture-level city in the northwestern part of Hunan. 

It is a region beloved for its magnificent natural beauty. 

The most attractive destination in Zhangjiajie is the world-famous natural heritage site Wulingyuan Scenic Area, which is recognized in the UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992. 

It consists of four parts, the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, Baofeng Lake and Suoxi Valley. In addition, Tianmen Mountain, a world famous national park in Zhangjiajie, also worth your visiting.

Chengdu

Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. It is located on the edge of the Chengdu Plain which is known as the “Country of Heaven” (Tian Fu Zhi Guo). The agriculture in Chengdu really develop well, as a result, it is also called the “Land of Milk and Honey” due to this. One thing you must do in Chengdu is visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. 

Chengdu is famed as “the home Town of Giant Panda” which attracts millions of tourists from inland and abroad. Moreover, Chengdu has a history of more than 2,000 years with numerous historical places of interests and relics. 

You can experience the history of Chengdu can go to the Jinsha Site Museum, Sanxingdui Museum, Wuhou Memorial Temple and Wenshu Temple, or you can stroll in the Jinli Ancient Street and the Wide and Narrow Alley to relax yourself. Additionally, you’d better not miss the Sichuan Cuisine.

Jiuzhaigou

Jiuzhaigou County, once named Nanping County, is a county of Sichuan Province, China. In 1998, it is renamed Jiuzhaigou, because the county consists of nine villages in a valley in Sichuan Province and it is under the administration of the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture. 

This county is mainly famous for the Jiuzhaigou Valley, or the Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area which is known for its many multi-level waterfalls, colorful lakes, forests, and snow-capped peaks. 

It was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and was awarded the status of UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve in 1997. 

The valley is a paradise for the wildlife. There are 27 protected rare and endangered species like the giant panda, Sichuan golden monkey, and more than 140 species birds are inhabitant in this valley. 

Beijing

Beijing, the capital of P.R.C. Being one of the six ancient cities in the country, it was the seat of the Ming and Qing dynasties’ emperors until the formation of a republic in 1911. It is also the main center of politics, culture and education in China. 

With a long history of more than 5,000 years, this city is quite rich in historical sites and important government and cultural institutions, moreover, it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Among different kinds of attractions, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian, Great Wall, and the Grand Canal have been listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In addition, the Peking duck, Peking Opera and Hutong are also worthwhile in your Beijing trip.
