Songpan/Chuangzhusi

Activities for today: train station pick-up, Songpan Ancient Town
Upon your arrival at Songpan Railway Station, you will be welcomed by our tour guide and driver. From there, you will proceed to visit Songpan Ancient Town. Originally constructed during the Tang Dynasty, the town was later reconstructed in the Ming Dynasty. Serving as a crucial military outpost and a hub for economic activities and trade, particularly in horses and tea, it facilitated exchanges between Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai, and Tibet. Visitors can explore remnants of ancient structures and battlefields within the city, with the well-preserved city gates and walls standing as testaments to its enduring history despite the passage of many centuries.
Note: your train is scheduled to arrive at Songpan before 14:00.

Chuanzhusi/Mounigou/Chuanzhusi
Activities for today: Mounigou Valley
Today, make an excursion to Mounigou Valley, a national park renowned for its abundant natural resources and the presence of rare animals such as the giant panda and the golden snub-nosed monkey. These elements collectively create the enchanting and ethereal "fairyland" known to the Chinese as Mounigou. Key attractions within the park include Zhaga Waterfall, Toudaohai Lake, Emerald Lake, Mouni Forest, Erdaohai Lake, Bright Mirror Lake, Swan Lake, Moon Lake, Hundred Flowers Lake, and Rhinoceros Lake, among others.

Chuangzhusi/Huanglong/Exit

Activities for today: Huanglong Valley, railway station transfer
After breakfast, we will embark on a tour of Huanglong Valley, also known as Huanglong National Geopark or Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area. This renowned destination is celebrated for its vibrant lakes, snow-capped peaks, valleys, and pristine forests. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1992, the park offers a captivating array of natural wonders. During our exploration, we will visit notable sites such as the Yingbin (Welcoming Guests) Colored Ponds, Feipuliuhui (Glowing Waterfall), Xishen (Washing Body) Cave, Penjing (Miniascape) Ponds, Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Temple, Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Cave, Shitazhenhai, Zhuanhua (Whirling Flower) Pond, Bonsai Pond, Flying Waterfall on Lotus Platform, and more.
Your day will culminate with a transfer to Huanglongjiuzhai Railway Station.
